Morris Rivers Jr. has served Southeast Alabama for over 30 years. Born and raised in Fort Rucker, Alabama, Morris graduated from Carroll High School, then went on to attend Southern University of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After graduating from the National Automobile Dealer Association in 1989, Morris began his career in the automobile business, where he has thrived. Morris holds the all time record for most cars sold by an individual in the Southeast Region. Additionally, he has received the Salesman of the Year award and many other awards, such as The Black History Gala award, The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar award, The Omega Psi Phi National Achievement Award, and he was nominated for The Enterprise Man of the Year award. Morris also works closely with Family Services, Sickle Cell Awareness, and The Children's Hospital. Morris believes the more we put into our communities the more we get back in return. Morris is also a family man. His beautiful wife Shunda Rivers, and their son, Morris Rivers the third, are his reasons to keep moving forward even on the tough days. His mother ,Barbara Stewart, is his biggest supporter. She reminds him in their daily conversations that Rome wasn't built in a day and to never give up on what you believe in.
